1. Start a Workspace
Name the workspace after the project, client, or audit goal. Use FTP for hosted sites and Local folder for files already on your device. Save workspaces to return to different projects later.
Connect a production FTP account or inspect a local project folder.
Use FTPAI as a hosted web app or browser-installed PWA. This project does not currently include a native Android/iOS wrapper, so source zip files are not phone installers.
Use Install app, or open the browser menu and choose Install app / Add to Home screen.
Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen for the PWA.
Browse FTP or local files, preview text, and choose context for the next AI request.
Discuss scope, pull context with @file or @folder, and grow the report live.
Browse saved Markdown folders, open files, and use AI finder to locate the right project notes.
Create HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content files from audits, saved docs, or new instructions.
Upgrade for advanced auditing, saved reports, and larger workspace features.
A practical template for running FTPAI audits and building reports.
Name the workspace after the project, client, or audit goal. Use FTP for hosted sites and Local folder for files already on your device. Save workspaces to return to different projects later.
Preview files before attaching them. Attach only the documents, folders, code, briefs, PDFs, DOCX files, notes, and concepts needed for the question. On shared hosting, try /public_html if FTP connects but shows no files.
Type @ in Audit Chat to reference attached files. Use prompts like review @brief.docx for missing requirements, scan @includes for security issues, or turn @notes.txt into a build plan.
The live Markdown report starts blank so you control the layout. Use Template for a starter structure, edit directly, switch to Preview, then export or save the workspace to continue later.
Create an account to save multiple workspaces, reports, selections, and conversations. Billing unlocks larger audit limits and advanced report workflows when enabled by the platform owner.
Paid accounts can save Markdown files into folders and subfolders. These saved documents can be referenced in Chat, Library, or Builder with @folder/file.md and updated with AI after review.
Use Builder to turn saved audits, briefs, and notes into HTML/CSS/JS files. Builder can save multiple files in a project folder and preview HTML with project CSS/JS assets.
FTPAI is read-only for FTP browsing. Review AI findings and generated code before making production changes, avoid sending private secrets to AI providers, and remove files from Selected for Audit that are not needed.
Send a ticket to the FTPAI support team for account, billing, workspace, or builder issues.
Include the mode, root path, and whether the test connection works. Do not send passwords or API keys.
Include provider, model, and the visible error. Check that your provider account has credits or billing enabled.
Use the same email as your account and include the Stripe checkout or billing portal step that failed.
Update your account profile and password for this platform.
Platform terms, privacy, and responsible-use information.
FTPAI is provided as an auditing, document-review, planning, website-concept, and reporting workspace. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to access any FTP account, website, codebase, document, or workspace you connect.
The platform provides AI-assisted suggestions, not guaranteed legal, security, financial, or professional advice. Review all findings before applying changes to production systems.
Account details, saved workspaces, reports, support tickets, usage events, and billing status may be stored in the platform database. API keys entered in the workspace are kept in the browser for this web version unless explicitly saved by future platform settings.
Files selected for an AI request may be sent to the chosen AI provider. Do not attach secrets, credentials, private keys, payment data, or personal data unless you have a lawful reason and provider agreement to process it.
FTPAI uses browser storage for workspace state, theme, account session tokens, AI provider choices, and install behavior. Clearing browser data can remove unsaved local workspaces.
Use FTPAI only on systems and documents you own or are authorized to review. Generated website/code files are drafts for review and testing; validate security, accessibility, copyright, licenses, and production suitability before publishing.
Support messages are stored so admins can review and respond. Do not include FTP passwords, API keys, Stripe secrets, private keys, or confidential customer data in support tickets.
